Dana M. Lane is an associate in the Princeton, NJ. office of Hill Wallack LLP. She is
a member of the Workers’ Compensation, School Law, Municipal Law and
Employment & Labor Law practice groups.
Ms. Lane concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation claims, education,
municipal and administrative law, and other employment matters, including
discrimination and civil rights claims. She represents a wide variety of clients, including
employers, employees, insurance carriers, boards of education, boards of trustees,
educational and municipal entities, and other individuals.

- Represents clients in workers’ compensation courts throughout the State of New Jersey
- Appears before the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, Public
Employment Relations Commission, Division on Civil Rights and School Ethics

- Represents boards of education and boards of trustees in complex tenure and
labor association grievance matters
- Represents clients in the Civil and Appellate Divisions of the New Jersey Superior Court and at the federal level in the United States District Court of New Jersey
- Has successfully argued dismissal of several matters at the arbitration and mediation level
- Provides legal guidance to clients when making difficult employment and budgetary decisions
- Advises clients on the legal ramifications of various employment actions, litigation strategies and settlement options

Ms. Lane is admitted to practice in New Jersey (2006), New York (2007) and before the United States District Court of New Jersey (2006). Ms. Lane earned her law degree from New York Law School and was an active member of the Moot Court Team. She competed in various brief writing and oral argument competitions where she received oral advocacy awards, including Best Oral Advocate in a Constitutional Law competition, and an invitation to present First Amendment arguments in Washington, D.C.
